I call it Figs and Coffee, but the figs and the coffee are barely recognizable at this point. The image will make sense when it is complete. In the meantime, I am continually intrigued by the fascinating interplay of colors. You can expect me to keep adding to the tapestry until it is complete. It’s nice to not be in a hurry.
May you keep moving toward completion.
Happy weaving, Karen

Good morning Karen,
Love your view. Is that green on your ? Nice.
The woven Figs look like Figs from my cellphone screen. Beautiful.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Nannette, Most of the green you see through the windows right now are cedar trees. There are some weeds beginning to show, and some bluebonnet sprouts. I have a good view.
Hi Bonnie, I do have a really nice work space with this loom – it’s in a corner of our living room. That means I can weave without having to go anywhere. And this corner has a great view.
Hi Margot, There is something special about being able to see the beauty of creation while creating something on the loom. Thanks for expressing your thoughts!

Love the rich colors and the intention not to hurry. How much more do we see when we are not in a rush.
Hi Wende, A sense of hurry can take the enjoyment out of the process, so I like to stay unhurried as much as possible.
Thanks,
Karen
It is beautiful. I love the bold colors. Your view is beautiful. I am sure it provides much inspiration.
