The last few months have been a season for me to put my focus on writing a book about prayer. This has been a season of less weaving than usual. Still, I find a way to get to the looms–a little here, a little there. It adds up. The nice thing about handweaving is that you have something to show for your efforts. Every little weft thread counts. Every day is a gift from the Lord, and every season is an opportunity to acknowledge Him. Thank you, Lord, for every season!
Here’s what I’ve been up to in this weaving season:

Happy Weaving, Karen
Hi there!
Oh How interesting that you are writing a book about prayer. When will it be published?.
As always you have beautiful weaving on the loom.
take care
Ida
Hi Karen
Your weaving is lovely.
I have purchased a julia loom this week (8 shaft countermarch) but it hasn’t come with any instructions of how to build the countermarch. I had instructions for a 2 shaft counterbalance and instructions regarding all the texsolv cords but nothing regarding the countermarch. The top screws seem too long and I have 7 large fat plastic washers that I haven’t a clue what to do with. Did you get instructions for building the countermarch. It’s bank holiday in the UK tomorrow so I will get onto the company I purchased it from on Tuesday. It’s good to see the loom does a good job when it’s up and working.
